AIR MAX 1 "SCHEMATIC" SNEAKERS
Following the "University Red" of the Air Max 1 "Sketch To Shelf" inspired by Nike's Tinker Hatfield, the Swoosh brand announced a white and black iteration of the "Schematic" design. Both sneakers follow the same mockup theme, with graphics based on illustrations by American designers.
The silhouette explores Air Max craftsmanship and construction, with detailed notes and sketches doodled on the surface of the sneaker. Both monochrome schematic colorways feature contrast stitching, "SAMPLE, PROPERTY OF NIKE NOT FOR RESALE" on the inside and Tinker Hatfield's signature on the heel, giving the shoe a blueprint-like feel.
